Job Summary

Under supervision, performs skilled and semi-skilled work in maintaining the grounds in or around the Golf Course.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Specializes in turf and irrigation system maintenance duties, such as mowing greens, tees, fairways, roughs and raking sand traps.
• Performs manual labor, including digging, shoveling, operating weed eaters, trim mowers and hand mowers.
• Assists in daily maintenance, including changing cups and tees, and setting up the course for play.
• Available for emergency work: evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Performs other related duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and skill in the use of tools.
• Ability to perform work requiring sustained climbing, standing, lifting, bending, kneeling, sitting, and walking.
• Ability to handle and work around potentially dangerous materials.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to maintain physical exertion for extended periods under adverse weather conditions at high altitude with exposure to dust, fumes, hazardous chemicals and/or disagreeable elements.
• Must Possess and maintain of a valid, current Arizona Drivers’ License.
